Itv: People Assdamaged and pooper persecuted over the mispronunciation of a word. Really?
Must be idiots because we mispronounce a word in a language we don't know. Because I'm sure you could pronounce unknown words in languages you don't speak with perfection.

@Toksyuryel Because their stupid. Ikea is from Sweden, I'm from Sweden. We pronounce the "i" like the way I explained (if, in and those words). And names shouldn't change their pronunciation in different languages. Saying Ikea like it's usually said in English is just stupid, it's not like you can't pronounce it like we do, you can, and should. Thank you.

@Liggliluff Then why does every single one of their commercials pronounce it the way it's pronounced in this song?
-
as a swedish person i want to say WHAT? and as a human being i want to say WHAT THE FUCK DID I JUST WATCH! and better how the hell did i get here.

I love your rendition of the IKEA song. Its a million times better than the Johnathan Coulton song. And funny thing there's an IKEA 30 minutes away from where I live and I've never been in there. lol. Now if i could somehow find Ponyville where this version of IKEA is at i would be there in a hoof beat. :)

@JakeLionsWorld [eet's vrong, eet's juust vrong...]
The "i" in Ikea is pronounced as the "i" in words like: if, it, is...

@Liggliluff Indeedy, I've been doing a little practicing since this ^^;; To some effect, though, the way it's sung is pronounced that way in the original song...

I loved Pia Ikea but your pronunciation of "IKEA" pretty much killed it for me :(
TOPTom86 2 weeks ago
@TOPTom86 Sorry about that. The truth is, Pia has one Hastsvensk parent and one from Canterlot, and when Pia was just a filly her mother took her back to Equestria and she's lived there ever since. She has both a fear of flying over water, which is why she has yet to visit her home,. Her extended family has only visited once or twice, for the opening of the new store, because long-distance travel like that is very time-consuming.
That's the reason she's not very Swede-like :( sorry

For Cadence's sake, ponies! Don't make up gibberish words just for the sake of cadence.
