@spainoner a lot of these posters are misleading u. on "From the Heart" Rozz was a Christian at that time (circa 1997-1998) having been converted (circa 1994) by his ex-wife Eva O who went off the deep end of the Eastern Orthodox Church, /not/ Born Again/Evangelical Christianity. She has since gone back to Satanism. this song was from 1992's "Dreams for the Dying" when Rozz & Eva were married & heavily involved in Theistic Satanism and Acute Drug Addiction. the Church samples were ironic.

most real death rock/gothic music has religous overtones...its always about the polarity of dark and light. Thats something hard for ppl to understan, without one one you cannot have the other. And yes Eva went born again, and Rozz was fighting his own deamons as he explained in latter interviews, before he sadly succomed to his own frailty and tender, torn spirit...he is sadly and deeply missed.

@spainoner He wasn't but at that point Eva O was. I'm sure he was inspired by the sound of church music [because it is a nice sound lyrics or not].

is this a christian rock band?or is it a gothic band?

@spainoner It is deathrock. It's more traditional goth but more underground and had punk/post-punk influences. It's still around today but it's not as big. Rozz himself never called himself a goth but many others did.
