You know I can relate to this. I spent years learning Korean & Japanese & I am sure it sounded funny to natives. Trying to get rid of the accent is a nightmare. Not to mention many words don't necessarily have directly translations. This is true with Japanese & I am sure is true with Russian as well. You have to in a since learn to talk all over again. You guys try learning another language and see how easy it is. Russian is a nightmare and among the most difficult to speak.

The fact you speak broken English, that's perfect American English :D, not too many people in America speaks good English anyway :D if you even try to speak English in America they would think you are an alien from another planet :D the less you are understood the better :D
