Great video. I had to cry a little to watch these "before and after" stories of my Stepnow friends all over the world. to see their old lives destroyed. One moment, I am "on top of the world" (actually on top of Sugar Loaf Mtn. in Rio) the next I am in wheelchair. We can beat (cure) paralysis. Get involved in advocacy to cure this terrible affliction.

Great video! It's very sad to see all these broken lives and the sad piece of music increases the impact. But it brings our message good across.

Tears to my eyes. one of my brothers recently became tetraplegic and i am trying to understand how it affects everyones lives. There is hope for the future and i just want to say how brave, calm and focused these individuals are. They teach us life's lessons how to appreciate everything we have and that despite adversity life goes on and is meaningful.

It's also good to remember that it's only a question of time before a cure is found, and that our work today, advocating for further developments and research into spinal cord injury, will one day mean that people in the future will walk again to tell the tale.
In the mean time we must Stand Together to End Paralysis Now. STEPNOW!!!

These faces represent just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to reflecting the huge numbers of all those worldwide living with paralysis, whether it is the result of injury, trauma, illness or infection. With promising developments coming from stem cell research and regenerative medicine, now is the best of times to come together and work together towards a cure for paralysis.
