Does anyone know if this will work with the iPhone?

Also, is the sound for this device just coming out of the one side? Or are there two speakers. I think listening to music from just ONE ear would drive me up the wall.

can u please tell me how do u pair it with a gps!?? i only try to pair it at home and i can see the scala rider set on my gps but when i listen to it from my headset nothing happens?? do i have to try it only if im riding my scooter outside? thank you all if u can help...

My scooter is certainly as large as yours, simplydannygirl, and I have no problems using the Scala Rider. With bluetooth cellular phones which accept voice commands, operation is hands-free with you simply saying "answer" when the phone rings (heard through headset) and "hang up" when you're finished talking (voice commands vary by phone).

BTW, my maxi-scooter is a Peugeot Satelis 125ccm 4V with GPS, FM/MP3 player, topcase, etc.

Of course, always ride instead of talking in heavy traffic.

BTW, Cardo claims (on their website) the Scala Rider will not fit half-size helmets, perhaps because chin strap rivets on half-size helmets tend to be lower than often found on either 3/4 or full-face helmets (mounting clamp for Scala Rider won't fit below rivet).

However, the Scala Rider will fit some half helmets, such as the HJC CS-2N. The key is a helmet with rivets as far up as one might find on full-face or 3/4 helmets.

Shorty helmets are often not possible as the mic won't reach.

The Scala Rider came with my TomTom Rider GPS system, allowing messages from the GPS and bluetooth cellular phone calls.

The Scala Rider works well. While the person on the other end of a phone conversation might start hearing some wind noise (not enough to drown out your voice) at speeds above 60mph/90kph with an open-face helmet, you can easily hear at most any speed.

Very handy for having someone walk you through directions to your destination, plus never miss an important call.
