at 1:52 Reminded me of those time where I was kinda depress. I was feeling like I was stuck in a body that I couldn't control. It feels so good to see Margie doing a demonstration of this weird feeling.

Art is not only for art. It's not for nothing that arts exists. Picasso was considered as crap in the past. And today he represents the culture of his people. This is what art is all about; carrying our people through history, the same way Germany has their great composers and France their Ballets, etc, etc. What do we have here in Canada? What makes us a people? And most important, what makes us any different than the rest of nort america? In her own way, Margie Gillis show us how.

@OMGaNEWBIE you don't get it. most ignorant people don't. cultural works involving theatre, music, art dance, music generates 7% of our gdp or $85 billion. for $300 million a year. it's a bargain. cirque de soleil started as a canadian arts grant and is now a $2 billkion company - and all the grants have been paid back many times over by taxes, jobs, and worldwide presence. you sow a field and you win and lose breaking even until you win huge and it all is worthwhile.
