This band is still kickin it all the way. Great chemistry, great performers, and above all a great band for sure. It you don't love these guys crawl under a rock.

... do some research... it's obvious to the eye the only double bass Dolenz used (and he did) was in Head. And for a silly comment- yes they were rather political. Stop reading Rolling Stone and read the real history.

OK... is there a commercial DVD available of these shows with all 4 members playing? They obviously taped it for the jumbotron screens.

Ringo is left handed, just plays right handed !
-
@SAHBfan UH, Ringo is NOT left handed. Duh!
-
lots of left handed drummers play right handed (Ringo Star)
Others set the kit up left handed (Phil Collins).
Micky Dolenz is the only drummer I've seen who sets a drum kit up right handed but left footed.
Weird!!!

@p38p40p51 lol i have to agree with you on that its not easy i played drums for 15 years and still have a hard time doing it

Fantastic. Incontrovertible proof, for those unconvinced by Wikipedia, that they could play and sing their own music--even 30 years later!

@uoyebutbackwords simply ggogle "monkees reunion birmingham UK 1997" for a complete setlist of the show. It was their "Justus" tour.

We all know The Monkees started as a TV show, but they evolved into so much more. Point is, a group of guys who recorded and in lots of cases wrote some great songs together and evolved into a living breathing touring fighting rehearsing drugging groupie-screwing breaking up getting back together again BAND.
