This is very interesting, particularly since I am a descendent of Plutarco Elias Calles, as well. My grandfather, Roberto, was the son of Elias Calles and Josefina Bonfiglio when the pair were romantic in their early 20's in Guaymas, Sonora. When she became pregnant, Elias Calles was was forbidden to marry her and was scurried away where he later became involved in politics.
