Nassim likes to point out that the double torus has both an inward attraction and an outward repulsion flow. He believes that there is an inward and outward wave "interference" pattern which creates everything we know to be reality. I've heard many philosophers and scientists do lectures and a good amount of them really open my eyes to the possibilities of different situations... Doorways, if you will. It's our job to make the final decision to walk through that doorway.
