I have the same welder and so does a few other guys on youtube one guy ran .30 aluminum thru the gun and it worked he did also have to have gas but it did weld great and did not jam up.

Yeah it doesn't really work but I have yet to see anyone on youtube try it so I thought I would give it a go.

yeah my welder doesn't have the gas inlet to run gas metal arc welding (mig) but the machine has paid for its self a few times over from doing wrought iron fencing and some small odd jobs.
