@325MADness I was a freshman for this show at Reagan, but I did attend this past BOA in San Antonio to watch my cousin perform for Reagan. I got to see Hidalgo's performance and it was definetly a flash-back!! You guys did great. I absolutely loved Synergy and it was crazy to see it again.

Please try to mitigate you're insults towards such things. The people who put the hundreds of hours into this routine did not deserve the pretentious comments you and others have put on here. If you're truly educated with these sort of routines then you must know the blood, sweat and tears others have put into making it perfect. Next time instead of being a downer and hurting the people who really worked hard for this, just say you need some improvements but other then that you did you're best!

It looks like the kids were given way too much freedom with their visuals. I dont know who their band director is, but it just looks too unruley. My band director NEVER would've let us get that sloppy. However, it was an exciting crowd pleaser so they have that going for them.
Wow. I can't believe the number of kids (and they must be kids) who are trash talking the "drum solo." Clearly, there is no "drum solo" in this show. There is not even a percussion feature, nor does there need to be. The percussion is well integrated into the musical program, the front to back communication is great, and they contribute to effect with great sensitivity. If you don't understand that this is the POINT of a good percussion section, then get off the internet and go get educated

Understand that the intent was not to impress the audience with tricky rhythms. It was a different mood, and not everyone has to like it, just like people enjoy different types of music.
Also, accept the show as it is, and realize that there are literally hundreds and hundreds of hours necessary to create shows like this. It's a little disappointing how you openly insult it.
