  • i live down here where it flooded lots of rain acourse but leaves broke and flooded everything

  • The rain was mostly further north of where Burlington is located, but for the most part, it was due to the flooding of other rivers in the area, the Iowa River, and the Ceader River were the worst, dumping it's flooded guts into the Mississippi, and causing record flooding in the area, the 2008 flood beat the 1993 flood by almost a foot.

  • How did this happen . From what I understand due to lots rains the dams broke

  • It was bad then . . . it's worse now. Well over 22 feet.

  • all dressed up for the dance and no date!!!

  • Tell it like it is. Sorry to see the spot get tanked by Ma Nature like it did.
