  • I love this town hall meeting. The wart story was great and so many stories of the struggles for people who have health insurance. Great ideas coming from the people and straight answers from the rep. Good job people!!

  • Thank You so much! I Loved that Lady's story too, she definitely helped lighten it up in there! :)

  • I am in the UK where we have the public option. My family and I never have to worry about our health costs, ever.

It is all free if we need it.

There is also private if someone wants to be Michael Jackson.

However, the idea that, if someone is ill, if there is medicine or treatment that can help them.

    It is a human right.

It gives everybody dignity, the alternative is whole families going down because a loved one gets ill.

Charging people who are in need is obscene IMO.

  • the women at 300 who lived in communist Poland, one of the things we're arguing about is cost and who gets what. It seems we don't have the resources to give everyone everything

For the women at 6:00, yeah some doctors are quacks, or perhaps we simply don't understand the logic/reason their using. Afterall we didn't go to medical school.

So exactly how would the government help. All they do is help pay, and if we feel that the doctor did not act in our best interest, the gov still pays them.
