  • Those protestants say Sola Scriptura, they reject the Holy Tradition, but they forget that Bible as a book is a result of Holy Tradition. The Holy Bible was constructed from thousands early Scriptures by holy fathers of first Ecumenical Councils )))

  • Dear Randeezy72, no the patriarch is not like a roman pope. A patriarch is a bishop one of many bishops. The Orthodox Church is concilliar, the Roman Catholic church is monarchic. A good anologogy is a democracy (Orthodoxy) and a fascist state (papalism).

  • @JustJim70118 What a joke! I made more money working elsewhere than being a Christian! You have no clue at all, SERIOUSLY! I honestly think that you have no clue about what sacrifices a Minister of the Lord makes daily.

  • @streets2apostle At best, you're a "christian" so you can make money.

  • @JustJim70118 At best, you probably were raised to go to Church all your life, and barely know why you do it now. Instead of going through the motions, why not REALLY read your Bible & really be an Orthodox Christian? You aren't a Christian just because you attend Mass & partake of the Eucharist. Even Judas shared in the bread & wine, & look how far he got! I'm busy preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom, winning souls for Christ Jesus, while you're still trying to figure it out....

  • @JustJim70118 I like that comment of yours! It shows just how silly a person you can be, & the extent of your intelligent defense! Is it because I went into Orthodox doctrinal areas that you aren't familiar with that you would try to attack me from the angle of character-bashing? Is it because there really isn't anything you can say to disprove me? Why not respond to my two statements? Why not show us all just how faithful an Orthodox Christian you are? Lets face it, you're Orthodox by name only

  • @streets2apostle Sir, please concentrate more time on your MySpace pages, and while you are at it, you may want to seek a psychiatric evaluation for narcissism and histrionics. I think this is especially called for in light of the fact that you think Jesus "friended" you on MySpace. Can't wait for your hit record! You could be the new male version of Cissy Houston!

  • @JustJim70118 1) Where do you see me proselytizing? Please show us, otherwise you are bearing false witness; 2) I respect the Orthodox Church probably more than you! Unlike most "Orthodox Christians", I actually take time daily to study the doctrines of the Church coming from the Bible, the Ecumenical Councils, & the Fathers of the Faith. A true Orthodox Christian is a student of the faith once delivered unto the saints. Telling you the truth is attacking heterodoxy, not Orthodoxy.

  • I just ask myself .. Who gave this people the authotization to practice religion ?

They are like all othre protestants , they just founded their own religion at their own belifes

  • @streets2apostle Mr. Apostle: Why don't you quite proselytizing and respect the beliefs of those persons in the Eastern Orthodox Church, which traces its roots back to the early church. You have the right to believe in which you believe, but your comments can be offensive to members of the Orthodox Church, which is the second largest Christian denomination. We all have freedom of religion. I haven't attached yours, and you should not attach the beliefs of those in this forum.

  • @JustJim70118 The same who sanctioned the first Apostles...the Lord Jesus Christ. Galatians 1; 1st Corithians 9:1-2. You believers have been taught as if the office of Apostleship is closed, or worse, a legendary office. This is no fantasy calling. Christ is still alive and well, and still sanctioning Apostles today. If you dont believe me 1) pray about it and ask the Holy Spirit, 2) check Church History for other Apostles throughout time, 3) read your Bible for yourself.

  • @streets2apostle And who made you an apostle?
