Suncoast Resort Hotel Halloween 1998

The Suncoast Resort Hotel operated for nine years from August 1998 to April 2007.

The entire first floor was a mall of small shops. "One Of A Kind Gifts" was my shop. I operated there for about the first year and one half. After that the management of the resort started running the resort like a leather bar rather than a vacation destination and business fell off for most of the shops.

I then moved my operation to local shopping malls. I did quite well selling my Asian gifts on kiosks until 9/11 put most of us small operators out of business.

The property that was the Suncoast Resort Hotel was sold to Home Depot and there will soon be a large home improvement warehouse doing business there.
