This song was written by Thomas Walsh of Co Meath in 1970 - he holds the copyright. (Please respect copyright!) You can look for it in a music book called The Waltz Book III (along with many other lovely waltzes) collected by Bill Matthiesen of Lanesboro Massachusetts.

That sounds great. I hvae been playing the flute for about 7 months or so and have tried playing this song. If you have notes for this song, could you send them to me? I usally can play many songs by ear, but not so good at this one.

muito bom, você esta tocando bem. sou meio iniciante também na transversal, toco a um ano mas só tenho aula a uns cinco meses.Tenho uma banda de música folk tradicional e um dos integrantes falou que iríamos tocar inisheer e ele me passou justamente o seu vídeo para que eu tirasse a música na flauta transversal. ^_^
continue assim quero ver mais vídeos seus!

Eu toco há uns 8 meses, mas aqui onde eu moro não tem professores de flauta transversal... então eu fiz apenas aulas de teoria musical durante uns 4 meses... eu nem sei se toco certo!! Por isso eu posto meus vídeos aqui - pra quem sabe receber umas dicas legais!
