  • Father, I found that man. The moment I laid eyes on him, I knew he was my future. My stomache and bones ached for him. I knew he would be a huge part of my life. But I walked away from him out of fear and insecurity. I was young, and he was the first good and pure person to walk into my life. I did not know how to accept such a gift at the time. Then later I lost him to an early death. Will I ever find anyone, again?

  • @iluvursmilevanessa Yes, I believe. Keep praying. Keep asking. Keep knocking.

  • Respond to this video... But all of this is much ado about nothing! If I'm making a valid point about marriage (and you agree that I am), then why does anyone care whether it's a celibate man who's making it?

  • Really wonderful video! Thank you, Father Barron...this was EXACTLY what I needed to hear at this moment.

  • @GregariousGorilla Welcome to reality.

  • Hope I meet a devout Christian girl then. Definitely will pray about this subject because I have been looking for love in the wrong places and for the wrong reasons -Primarily not putting God in the drivers seat. God bless & great video

  • I want this, Father Barron

  • "Out in the forest"...ROFL. Good one and good point.

  • It's impossible to argue ethics over the internet. Even if you give the most sensible explanation to why a thing is good or bad, people will simply not change because they are not being personally confronted. Only people who are truly open minded will intellectually embrace opinions that are different than their own. Sadly, those people are seemingly a minority as clearly observed in the comment section.

  • Thank you for explaining "reason/s" for a Catholic marriage. wonderful video.
