5-speed manual 4A-FE engine. The basic problem I'm having is that the engine won't start. When the key is in and switched to ON, fuel pump will not prime, and when I try to start the engine, the starter doesn't turn over. So all I get is a very faint click from the starter (sounds like it's moving out to the flywheel but not spinning), and when I leave the key in the ON position, the dash lights start going crazy.

In this video, I jumper the diagnostic connector at terminals T and E1, which is supposed to show codes at the check engine light. Instead, I get a continuous clicking sound, which I think is coming from the starter...

I'm at wit's end, I don't know what else to check on this wagon. I've replaced the main relay (in the engine bay), not the problem. The ignition switch checked out as being bad, but with a brand new one, it still won't start. I can jumper the diag. conn. to make the fuel pump prime, so I know the fuel pump works. I'm wondering if this is the starter (which gave me problems that I fixed a year ago) or the ECU / ECM...
