This is a Male Saffron Finch in the wild. Common on Hawai'i along the Kona Coast. Introduced in the 1960's. Native to South America. Song is composed of slurred whistles mixed with chips. Forage on the ground for seeds and insects; they will also vist bird feeders.Little is known abount their breeding biology in Hawai'i

  • @famact Fibra é a disputa de canto entre os pássaros. Aquele que der mais cantos vence a competição. Muitos pássaros não têm fibra e afinam nesta disputa.
