  • yes, full time focus, meaning full time manual focus :-) you can focus even when camera is set to AF...

  • @feelda303 You should never manually focus a lens when it's set to Auto Focus. You'll ruin your lenses motor.

  • @feelda303 Yes, i'm aware of that, but when pulling focus, always be sure you never have your lens set to AF... you'll ruin your motor.

  • "Full time focus"?

  • cool visuals....buddy

  • I really enjoyed this video. It shows just what the 7D and other Canon D-SLRs are capable of. I just got a new Canon high-def camcorder (the Vixia HF G10), but when I'm really serious about my video I'll reach for my 5D2 for its excellent color, low-light capabilities, and shallow depth-of-field possibilities, and the L-series glass.

  • love all your videos.

  • what export settings are you using to keep this kind of quality on youtube?

  • wow amazing work i now have decided i am going to get this camera now thanks so much

  • @rainarzufall

Look at this video, it's really amazing too : EOS 7D GLIDECAM 2000HD TOKINA 11-16 LEMON SQUEEZER | HARRIMAN STATE PARK DAYLIGHT MATT

Glidecam and the wideangle are brillantly used there and the editing is great.

  • i was just wondering, i imported my canon 7d movie clip to imovie09 and i was shooting 1080 at 24p. When i watched it back on imovie and i entered it at full screen, it seemed really pixely and wasn't very hd looking at all. Any ideas as to why that may be? Do you think its because imovie doesnt support 1080?

  • @freezazoid It just looks like 24 fps. You know that cinematic look it has? That's typically imparted by a frame rate of 24 fps. I'm not that advanced when it comes to software, but I guess they always could have shot it at a higher frame rate and edited it to make it look slower. Anyway, I have a Canon T2i, and it shoots video with the following resolution and frame rate settings:

    1920x1080 @ 24 fps

    1920x1080 @ 30 fps

    1280x720 @ 60 fps

    640x480 @ 60 fps

  • @psyclistic wait... how do you know it was 24 fps? It doesn't say that anywhere. The reason I ask is because I was wondering if the canon dslr's could shoot less than 50 fps.

  • i love the scene at 2:04. the colors are amazing :)

  • @MacReviewzOnline Haha, I used to live in Santa Monica and thought the same thing. I was like, "Hey, the Santa Monica pier isn't this cool!" I think the 24 fps and warmer tone takes the edge off.
