the wind waker game and all previous games are more of on a different story line and loosely based of the origonal series and as for the continuation of that series is what i call the gamecube/ds series because the consols and seeing as the origonal series stoped around 4 swords/alink to the past and minish cap then they continued on with the gamecube/ds series almost forgeting about the origonal story line but with the same ancestors rescuing and being saved just with crappy graphics

Also, TP is not AU. It occurs in the same timeline as MM, but some X hundred years later. The Hero's Shade, the Stalfos-like guy who teaches you the Hidden Skills, has been speculated to be the Hero Of Time, having returned to Hyrule after saving Termina from Majora. The line below is what implies this.

"Although I accepted life as the hero, I could not convey the lessons of that life to those that came after. At last, I have eased my regrets."

It WAS OoT Link they meant, I never said it wasn't. The only things this Link did in TWW's timeline was what he did in the second half of OoT. When Zelda sent Link back at the end of OoT, his involvement in that timeline ended there, as sending him back split the timeline, Miyamoto already confirmed it.

When TWW's prologue says the Hero Of Time never returned, it wasn't that he was in Termina at the time, but because Zelda sent him back to make the other timeline.

in windwaker it was talking about the past link so i think its this one here. remember the stained glass in the temple in windwaker . it had images of the sages from oot. showing that the the glass was made during the time period of the oot link so those two are connected.

they ARE in different timelines, oot/majora's mask is past, and windwaker is present.

what you meant to say was different universes and your wrong. twilight princess probably is though.

@clubpenguinlovers100 Well,because i'm super watchful when it comes to these games,notice two things that weren't in Ocarina of Time. One,link is kid link,and he's riding baby epona,the way she looked before link was older.
