New Solotica Natural Colours in Quartzo. Not a fan, definitely not as natural!

very pretty, but i have a questtion, if ur ocntacts slide off all the time, is it because their old or somerthing, bec. mine always slide off

When contacts slide to the side, it is because the base curve of the lens is bigger than the base curve of your eye. Coloured lenses do not come in a huge selection of base curves unless you have perfected shaped eyes, etc. Most clear lenses slide too (or rather, not sit perfectly center on your eyes), but it is of course not noticeable, since they are not clear. It is also not noticeable with the original Solotica colours because they have a feathered pupil hole.

i dont like these either, i cant wait till icemint come out. I mean the colour is great, but there is no blending, the pupil hole is ugh!

And I agree. These would have been such beautiful lenses if they would have kept the feathered pupil hole with these new colours!

I just noticed that the color on these does not blend in with the natural iris like other Solotica Natural Colors - these ones just have a sharp pupil hole. Is this something Solotica is changing, or are the new colors the only ones like this?

I just ordered a pair of NC Mels :S I really hope they blend!

It's just the three new colours that are like this - Quartzo, Topazio, and Esmeralda. All of the original colours (including Mel) blend like all the old ones! :)

@ashjki oh, i forgot to say... the lenses fit perfectly on you. The diam and BC are the right size of your eyes.

@ashjki it is not because of base curve, is because the lenses are too loose on your eyes. Sometimes is not about base curve, it's about diam. You just have to keep the BC and reduce de diam. Simple as that.

Ok first of all thats not Solotica. Solotica are much more thicker then these fake craps. Looks like a damn fly eyeball with the netting type look. FAKE!

@ashjki my soloticas slid until i did the hot water trick--you put them in a lens case with clean solution and put that case in hot water (but not boiling) for 30 seconds, pop the warm lenses straight into your eye and they will hug your eye better-now they fit me like a glove

Hello everybody, i ordered soloticas quartzos one week ago on viallure website. And i can't believe how dark they look. I ordered them one year ago and they looked way lighter at this time, so i'm really really really disappointed...I think solotica toned down every colour from his brand because a friend of mine bought nc cristal and mel and they also look as light as freshlook do. Solotica doesn't make opaque lenses anymore, i guess i will buy from magic top now...
