Object over Jersey 16/01/2012

We received a few phone calls to the station last night, claiming that a strange object had been spotted over the east of Jersey. Thankfully our duty camera team were in the area and managed to capture the following footage. Did anyone else spot it?

Today we'll be talking to several local experts to try and establish what it was. Hopefully, we'll have an answer for you by the time Channel Report airs at 6pm.

The truth is out there...

Wasn't there a Russian satellite that was meant to land in the Indian Ocean over the weekend. Each time I saw the news feed the location of where it would crash had changed. I wonder if that was what it was?

Yep I saw this it came from the West over St Brelade heading East at a fantastic speed do not think it was military as there was no noise after it passed thought it was a Satelite or the space station but looked a bit small for that.? Beam me up :-)
