it seems the pilot suffers an expensive lesson, but walks away unharmed.
i wonder if he actually hit the wire(s).
anyway, i hope he enjoys rebuilding.

looked like he flared into the wind..but then turned 90 degrees away from teh wind, and lost his life..came straight down...

Was he headed downwind in a glide? If so, bad idea.

Pilot error. Pilot try hover his gyrocopter over power line with gusty win.
Always low and slow is not the way to go.
