Oh you have no idea how happy this video made me, thanks! Not only is it our first video response but it's so well thought out, eloquent and concise! Definitely with Jenn on marking down the fetishism of youth and the intersectionality between sexism and ageism for a future week's theme.

It's interesting how 9-12 seems to be the age many women start shaving, basically as soon as, or even just before, puberty hits. Quite upsetting really. - Becca

@ThosePeskyDames Hey Becca! Thanks for the response. Like I told Jenn, I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to see a video on that. And you're right that period between 9 and 12 really does something to young girls.  Maybe something to explore further?

@Emmagizer For sure! I'm sure I've read some statistics somewhere too about how children's attitudes and self image start to differ around that age too, how if you ask 6 year olds it's pretty much an equal split who say they want to be president/prime minister, or an astronaut etc, but by 15 that split is heavily weighted to boys.

I think we're going to start taking guest vlogs to put up on the weekend too so if you wanted to you'd be more than welcome to maybe do the first vid on this? - Becca

Kudos to you Emma, very well put, even though the video was not entirly for me, but u r doing the you tube dream, where u can let people know ur thoughts, and not just read, but see the actual person tell there thoughts.

Most the girls I know shave cause they dont like the way hair feels on them, other than there head. lol, but i digress. again, kudos, and thumbs up chicka
