Mission accomplished. The drug war is a big success. The banks get to launder billions in drug money. The gangsters have a juicy profit motive which would radically diminish if drugs were legalized. The governments have a great excuse to "crack down" while depending on that thin blue line mentality. It's a win-win-win for all the scum of the earth, who get to parasitically suck the life out of the average person. It's a ghoul's paradise. Mission accomplished. Hail drug war. Hail government.

Making drugs legal won't fix things, you will still have stealing for money for people to get their fix going on. Also you got governments who are rumored to be running drugs and guns creating this problem.
