E6 (AKA the English Man) broadcasts '690 690 690 00000' - this probably means no message for recipient 690 (assuming each callsign denotes a particular recipient).

E6 (as designated by the ENIGMA 2000 monitoring group) is believed to be a spy station operated by Russia, with many sister stations including the Russian language S6.

It's been some time since I heard E6 - and the previous time was a null message too. Notably, this current recording is on the day of the Russian presidential election (2/3/08), although recepient 690 doesn't appear to need any instructions. Frequency was near 6870 khz, AM.

  • There are lots. I'm really surprised how much is out there. The amazing thing is most people just don't know about all this.

A bit of internet research can save you a lot of time. e.g. I found out about E25 and tried the two suggested freqs (6140 and 9450 khz) - to my surprise I could just about receive it.

I have no schedule for E6 though.
