SynthBirds

This is a short sketch for a piece that I'm working on. It's made in MaxMSP and using simple oscillators but with detailed control (as you can see). The piece is for multi-channel but the sketch sounds OK in stereo.

the function object is a standard object (its not the LCD but it could be used for this purpose)

cool - standard objects are better. With an lcd object doing the timeline? Very economical. Made me look at the object palette - I'd completely missed the addition of tabs in max 5!

Thanks, its all done using standard objects. The breakpoint editors are layed over each other (with transparent backgrounds). The each layer is brought to the front using scripting with the "thispatcher" object (the tab object in 5 is useful or this).

beautiful - the look reminds me of the breakpoint editor in cecillia & also Ligeti's lovely coloured scores. Really nice way to display lots of information in the same plane. I really like the audio as well. Using ej obects?

wow looks sounds great ,,care to share the patch? i am just starting out and find other people patches help me to understand and build :-)
