It's not lintar, it's "lIngta", or "lingta" in the Federation standard. As far as I am aware there are no pictures of a lIngta available, but it's an animal that is eaten by potential mates in the area surround Qo'noS. Also, it is correct that targs are usually domesticated and used as beasts of burden, but at the same time targh tIq (or "heart of targ") is a popular Klingon dish.

Have any of you checked out the movie Earthlings. My friends either hate it or love it. i can't make up my mind - it's so wrong but yet so right!
-
I don't think so. The guy who told me that it was a "method of prparing Targ" was probably lying, because Lintar is being used as a proper noun in this sentence.
-
But does a targ have anything to do with a Lintar
-
Yes, it's like calling someone a filthy animal. I did some research, heart of targ (literaly) is a common food.
-
Targ is a very common insult right? I'm also sure Knelix was hunting one in that voyager ep when the Hirogen take over the ship and try and turn it into a huge holodeck
I would love a job like that, I must go to that, How was the food and the whole experiance?

the food is pretty decent american pub-grub, we go for the scenery, entertainment value and potent bubbling drinks.

I bet this is from the Star Trek ride at Las Vegas. The Vulcan chick was a total babe. I would have loved to show her my photon torpedo.
