Homemade Hydroponic system -herb garden 3-4 weeks old

I made this using IKEA plastic box, air pump, water pump, hose, etc.

I am currently growing Tarragon, Sage, Lemon Basil, Red Robin Basil, Thai Basil, Mint, Savory, Chives, Oregano, Orange Scented Thyme, Marjoram, and Parsley

Some of the seeds are from Aerogarden Herb Chef Pack and the rest are from Thompson & Morgan website.

The Lemon Basil, Red Robin Basil, Oregano & Thai basil are about 3-4 weeks old however the rest are 2 weeks old.

how do you start the seeds? surly they wouldn't stay in your medium long enough to root.

@preytec I started them in the same system. I used Aergarden grow sponges in my homemade system. The sponges were surrounded by clay pebbles. They were stable enough to hold the seeds. With water slowly dripping over the sponges, they sprouted and grew into plants.
