Her Story: For many years, Antoinette lead a high-risk lifestyle, but it was not until she contracted HIV from her long-term partner that she decided to take control. Listening, learning, and ultimately sharing with her support groups and providers, she has overcome this and other health problems to live her life to the fullest. Knowing there were other women like her helped Antoinette move on. Today she hopes to be the same model, and encourages all young women to know their status and take control.
