enough is enough! youtube has been getting away with abusing users long enough. i just got bulk mailed on appeal that all of the INSTRUMENTALS in my channel "violate community standards!" (not copyrights).
as individuals, youtube can afford to ignore us like the faceless corporation it is, but we WILL have a say if the THOUSANDS of us whose free speech has been violated UNITE!
let's start a class action lawsuit! pass the word, it's time to be heard! fight the conspirators using THEIR methods

Why do people link to tiny url? it's a pointless step. Just make a direct link. Unless your printing it on cards or whatnot.
This is like the 10th video that doesn't simply link to whatever but makes a link to a link to a site.

If people spread the word about this, either by word-of-mouth or in YT videos, it's far easier to remember "fightdmca" than it is #9/e=3d60a&t=DMCA.

I voted against it because you're blaming the wrong party. YouTube is just following the law. As I understand it, one of the effects of the DMCA is to protect content providers (YouTube) from liability when one of their users posts copyright infringing material on their site. They can't refuse to comply with a DMCA takedown notice. Read DMCA on Wikipedia

@ADmiralN1 That doesn't mean steps can't be taken to prevent events like Shawn's DMCA-happy day. Why can't YouTube require more authentication from DMCAing users?
