kattimoni - New Vibe

'KA.T.T.I.M.O.N.I' - It's sexy. It's fun. It's got a groove to make you move. It's got attitude. It's a soul based jazz/ funk/ hip-hop band from Melbourne called Kattimoni.

The group was formed through an evolution of blues/roots project "Katt Beames and the Soular Sky".
Having released an EP, a full length studio album 'Elixir' and touring nationally together, founding members decided to build on an already existing chemistry as a foundation to bring something fresh to the live music scene. Kattimoni combines and draws links between influences such as Erykah Badu, Alice Russell & the Quantic Soul Orchestra and Roy Hargrove, with a vibe and energy of their own flavour.

Featuring Melbourne locals; Frank Lees (Drums) and Sonny Igusti (Bass) laying down those intoxicating grooves, along with Nathan Lloyd (Guitar) Charlie woods (Trumpet) and Katt Beames' smokey vocals & energetic delivery to keep you moving on your feet.
