  • @MrSkywaka--you can run one at a time without anything else running but it is NOT RECOMMENED, some decoders (DCC) you cannot run on DC at all...

  • That is by far the best sounding one I ahve heard yet. Only thing is the horn still sounds too "tinny" due to those small speakers that have to fit in the unit..... I've always wondered if it might help to have a couple of woofers located around the layout to help "fill" in the sound from the decoders... but the trouble is getting teh sound signal from the locomotive to the woofer!  Great video.

  • Great video showing the sounds! The Soundtraxx Tsunami systems are one of, if not THE best DCC sound system you can get on the market, IMHO. I've got 3 of the "micro tsunami" decoders on my layout.
