Squat

295, 305, 315

Split Jerk

215, 230, 245xFAIL. =(

Deadlift

385, 405xFAIL, 405x0 (not in video)

Ugh, didn't do as well as I wanted to(by about 50 lbs)

Least I got some competition experience.

  • Nice efforts, however I'd strongly advice you to (as many here have said) emphasize your form. I many young guys you have injured themselves for the rest of their lives.

  • I'm aware my form was less than pretty, haha.

    Thanks though, I'm building back up there (Injuries/traveling have post-poned consistent training for awhile)

  • Its no wonder you are getting injured with a deadlift technique like THAT!!! Your squat form is good though and you have good strength in the power jerk

  • I really hope I don't jynx myself, but I've never been injured and my deadlifting form is as shoddy and inconsistent as possible. Heck, just earlier today I DL'ed 415lbs with both my lower and upper back rounded and hitching it up. I learned how to lift from strongman, who don't consider a lift to count unless you can do it at 3AM in the morning with the worst form possible while standing on a sheet of ice.

  • Your feet are too far apart to accomodate where your hands are on the deadlift. See how your feet are farther out than your knees?
