MAC Pro Longwear Eyeshadow ($20.00 for 0.11 oz.) is supposed to wear for eight hours with a "silky, creamy texture" that yields "maximum color impact." It's also designed to be blendable and buildable. As a reviewer, I am endlessly pleased that MAC gave definite wear times on these--it's so much easier to assess whether the product was successful!

MAC Pro Longwear Lipglass ($18.50 for 0.06 oz.) is supposed to last up to six hours with lots of shine and color. There are nine shades released as part of the Styledriven collection, and all nine are permanent. This post features these five: Dark as Night (deep mid-tone purple with slight pearlized pigments), Driven by Love (red-blue with slight pearlized pigments), Full Speed Ahead (bright pink-magenta), Infinitely Likeable (light pink), and Lasting Achievement (mid-tone purple with slight pearlized pigments).

What was the last Mac collection you thoroughly enjoyed?

Peacocky - it's the first that came to mind, but I did go through what's been out this past year since then (because my memory sucks, lol!) and yeah, I really liked Peacocky :) Mickey Contractor was nice and Surf Baby had its moments, but Peacocky was really good. The eyeshadows at least!

I have two of the lipglosses, dark as night & show me, & i hate them! terrible on they're own, terrible with lipstick. Streaky, way too thick. Absolutely regret getting them. But the colors were too tempting

Yep, they require a TON of patience and effort - and $18.50 for 0.06 oz. should not require that much work!

Now that you have had the experience of formulating the green shade with MAC in an eye shadow, how would you say Fresh Flare compares to yours? So hard to tell even with swatches from the computer!
