  • its 3 days not 30 minutes. even though they do open in like 30 minutes. im doing this for speech

  • yeah, i changed it because i thought it might be too confusing otherwise.

  • yeah by the end end after reading some coments i noticed that. Me and my friend are going from like halfway down page 10 before he speaks t the audience and then picking back up with Trichninosis and skipping all of doris' lines.

  • Haha, actually, that part was because the actor (who was actually the "writer") messed up on his lines.

  • I squirmed for 2 minutes then turned this video off. Hope the 'actors' have real jobs. Not that I could do any better, but at least I know what I can't do, unlike them.

  • well, i think its more of a "you had to be there" thing. we really changed a lot of the script to pertain to the town we were in and what was going on. we used a lot of non-actors to put on a great play and had a lot of fun. you're entitled to your opinion certainly, but for what we were doing, i think we did a great job.

  • @FuckItSnoopy Go watch a professional production of a Chekhov play and try saying that again. Distance should not make an actor play to the audience unless he's purposely trying to be presentational. Otherwise, within the boundaries of the play, an actor should be representational with the character. Acting in theatre is not about waving your arms so people see you. It's about bringing the truth of a character up there. If the character itself is bigger than life, then so will the actor.

  • IT'S THEATER PEOPLE. Not film. The acting has to be flamboyant. Have you ever seen the first movies? Those characters were played by theater actors. It took a while before people realized the power of the camera as a medium between the actor and the viewer. The distance between the stage and the audience causes people to have to act more emphatic.

I cant get into the scene with these 2 amurcans acting so bad

  • Overacting a lot, and too much use of the hands. Also some uncomfortable pauses.

  • Man, they're really chewing the heck out of the scenery here...
