This is a song from the Angus area. It used to be popular in the early part of the 20th century. I min' my Granny used to sing it when I was a wee laddie.

I am very familiar with this song but not this version which is very entertaining. In another version the woman's "entertaining" when her husband comes home unexpectedly and sparks fly. I think I prefer Sandy's version which has more of an original sound to it.
