Hey, it's not all hard work at the dojo! Here's something for all "we gaijin" who have [or are] living in Japan and have a passion with swordsmanship. Beyond sounding like sick cows, here's our [Patrick McCarthy & Kusano Sozen] version of Yoneyama's song, about the warrior Takeda Shingen, entitled "Takeda Bushi," sung at the Sugino dojo [Kawasaki] in 1988.

  • Well done!

Now you just need the musical accompaniment. Guchin to support the bass and kokyu for the mid-range. I'm tempted to say shamisen for treble, but shinobue would probably sound better.

    Thanks for the song.
