Ah, the good old days, when pens could be sold loosely, in open bins, so customers could take as few or as many as they needed, with no excess packaging.
Unfortunately, there were so many losers & kids out for the thrill of shoplifting, that stores did away with the open bins. Sad.
Does anyone have the commercial where they ice skate, set the pen on fire and then write with it?
Also they shoot one out of a gun into a piece of wood and the pen still writes. I remember seeing this when I was five and it still has a lasting impact on me.
@OofusTwillip I know how you feel about this. I wished it was still this way too.
