Recessed lighting can be a great design feature. Most recessed lighting, however, represents a weak link in the energy-efficiency and comfort performance of a home. Air-leakage robbing the home or heated or cooled air, and inefficient lamps themselves are the two big issues. Fortunately, there are solutions!

  • The box is usually made of sheet rock and sealed with astme 136 caulk. Just check with your building regulations to see if you are allowed to have the box over the light. Either way it cant be any closer than 3" on any side

  • What was the box made of that went over lights at 2.55min marker ????

  • Please view the "Fansulator"
