@stupidcommentbelow Sorry, that's how I speak and present.

@jibselicious It's probably the image stabilisation motor in the lens.

Great review. I just ordered the 5D Mii a couple days ago and can hardly wait. The remote live review is going to come in handy for many of the projects that I have planned. I currently use an Olympus E-620, although a nice general purpose camera, it has a lot to be desired.

Thank you for the review,
As a filmmaker I'm thinking of switching over to DSLR shooting. I'm hesitant, but so far everything points to it being superior. You wouldn't know any traditional style video cameras around the same price range that would be comparable in quality?

I wonder what the Mk 3 will offer - can I justify the upgrade though? :S

@cameralabs On the contrary to stupidcommentbelow's statement, you speak very well. You clearly know what you're talking about, and you say only what you need to. People respond best to factual statements, as opposed to unnecessary babble, so you're definitely doing the right thing. Keep up the good reviews, I really enjoy them :)
By the way, I think I'm going to buy that camera, I couldn't decide before :)
A bit off topic but can you tell me where this beautiful place in the video is.

I like your reviews a lot, they are very imformative, thanks very much for that, but since this dSLR is about 3+ years old, can it really compete with another dSLR such the newer Nikon D7000, which I owned for a year but got stolen for a litle while now, So I am wondering to whether buy this one or the D7000, would really appreciate your advice/Denny

@theoneandonlydenny Sorry to hear your D7000 was stolen. The 5D2 is getting on but still offers the best resolution in the current Canon range. Buying decent compatible full-frame lenses though can get expensive. It all depends what you want from your camera, and having owned the D7000 you'll know in which aspects it may have disappointed you. Have a look at the best buys section at cameralabs . com for the models I recommend right now...
