Stop Time (how to)

I almost messed up on this one. All you have to do is talk to the guy next to the telescope with less than 00:00:03 left on the clock and then hammer on B. It should work. Should...

Some notes on what happens after you stop time:
You cannot pause to equip other items until 6:00 p.m. An easy way to get here would be to talk to the scarecrow if you haven't taught him a song.

If you do this on the first three days as Deku Link, don't ever talk to Tatl because if she tries to say there are less than three days left, the game freezes.

After a certain time of day, Gossip Stones and the Happy Mask Salesman will freeze when they tell you how much time is left.

There are almost no NPCs after time is stopped, so do whatever you need to do before doing this glitch (especially if you're using it to do dungeons).

Entering the Clock Town shooting Gallery will freeze the game. Talking to the Swamp shooting gallery man will freeze the game. Talking to the Dekus in the Deku Playground will freeze the game.

There are no invisible platforms leading to the Lens of Truth.

If your game freezes for any reason other than the things I've mentioned, don't complain to me. I can only test so much.

Ok, first of all, I'm assuming hammering down a button refers to hitting it rapidly which I can do very good, but no matter what I do it takes at least 00:00:08 for me to get out of the telescope view with time slowed down. So I talked to the guy at 00:00:10 and got out of the telescope at 00:00:02 and the moon still crashed. Are you leaving out a step like perhaps Z targeting the old guy and pressing A rapidly? I really want this to work.

@satan915 It doesn't matter how long it takes to get out of the telescope. As long as the moon would have fallen during that time, you can press B then. Try it at 00:00:03 or less. Even if you press it a tiny bit after it hits zero, it should work.

New fact: While using the fast forward song crashes the game, talking to scarecrows doesn't! Don't use them to get to the final night, though, so that they don't leave.

I got it to work, it's because I had time slowed down.  Even if you wait until 00:00:01 with time slowed down it won't work. You must have time flowing normally. I was only slowing it down to get more accurate results because I didn't think it mattered.
