First day of school is supposed to be a happy day in every child's and every parent's life and family. It is not so in the so called country of Iran. For the majority of non Persians of Iran the first day of the school is the day of cultural, lingual, and educational genocide. All educational material has to be in Persian and filtered by the Persian-Shia cantered government. All non Persian languages are banned and humiliated. First day of school is the day of punishment for not being Persian; for being Turk, for being Turkmen, for being Arab, or Beluch. All non Persians have to suffer under apartheid regime of Persian-Shia. First day of school is the day of mourning for non Persians. We as South Azerbaijani people condemn Persian chauvinist for assimilating our people. Long Life South Azerbaijan independence.
