No source this time round, used the original lyrics and added aswell as moved the lyrics Eddie Vedder rewrote.
-----------------------------------
Hand over my face
I am related to my enemy

Our house on fire and big brother,
brother tried to put the blame on me

Oh, little sister, You and me can rise above
Oh, ain't no brother - Back to back to back
Oh better back on

You use the flag as a bandage
Oh my big brother's a pocket hypocrisy

In the closet, my pleasures 'cause big brother,
brother don't wanna just let me be

Oh, little sister, You and me can rise above
Oh, ain't no brother - Back to back to back
Oh better back on

Oh, little sister
you and me can walk alone
Oh, ain't no brother - Back to back to back
Oh better back on

Hey now
Brother

Hey now
Hey now
Hey now

In my mind there's a clearing
Rose gardens open grey skies
Oh no one's hurtin'
and I'm joyin'
I'm flying
I'm flying

Oh, back to back to back, oh better back on
back to back to back, back c'mon
back to back to back to back to back, back

Hey now
Brother

Big brother, brother, brother

Hey now
Brother

  • Aw, I have a guilty pleasure for Lady Gaga. I think earlier Nickelback was okay, and Linkin Park is still pretty good. I mean, I guess they're not the ideal rock band and pretty mainstream but they still make enjoyable music.

Although Pearl Jam, RHCP, and the Foo Fighters, they're just pure awesome.

  • thanks for the lyrics!!!

i love the slow part of the song.

  • Still torn between the Ten Reissue version and the Lost Dogs version, I love how the Lost Dogs version has a more comprehensive instrumental put together while the reissue has Vedder's lyrics. They were eventually overdubbed by the epic guitar parts he asked McCready to put in (which appeared on the Lost Dogs version).

  • Love it.

  • I liked it thanks......

  • Killer guitar. Love this. I wish I could hear it live.

  • RIP in peace internet I will miss you more then my old dead racist grandfather

  • - Yeah, yeah... on one live version of "Dirty Frank" he refers to a Hannibal Lecter quote from The Silence Of The Lambs. The original quote reads: "A census taker once tried to test me. I ate his liver with some fava beans and a nice chianti."

Eddie at about 4:20 (or so...) says, "I'll eat you... I'll eat you with a little fava beans and a little bit of chianti." Fucking spectacular cut of that tune!

  • Great

  • at first i thought this song was about child abuse and rape. then i read the lyrics. turns out its about 1984 lol

  • This is an unreleased song, it didn't make the album

  • Probably, he adlibs a lot of stuff like that in his songs. Listen to Dirty Frank.
