Every day for a week in 2002, channel 4 showed a 5 minute programme with a famous person talking about their experiences with miscarriage.
This is Tori's very moving programme.
Shown on 25th March 2002, on channel 4 in the UK.

  • I had 3 miscarriages & finally I'm on my 4th pregnancy & heading into my 10th week, praying that I get past the next 3 weeks & can finally breathe with relief! Miscarriage needs to be talked about more & people need to understand how one feels when it happens & what a huge loss it is! I'm glad I saw this as I didnt realise Tori had suffered in this way. Baby dust to everyone!!!! x xx

  • It's almost been 2 weeks since my own miscarriage. Tori articulates exactly how it feels. It's so awful but this is so comforting to hear someone who's been through it and can be positive in the aftermath. Thank you Tori for speaking about it. :)

  • Bless Tori for her courage in sharing this. And bless all of you here for sharing your stories too!

  • I had a miscarriage ten weeks ago, the day after Mother's Day. It's odd, the night I got home from the D & C, I couldn't sleep. I stayed up all night at the piano, singing and playing through Tori Amos books, not sure why, but between sob sessions, I was sitting at the piano playing her stuff. It was oddly comforting. Now that I've seen this interview, I realize aha. My soul must have known, Tori has been there too.
