Stockhausen is my new favorite composer.

@IwanttoliveinParis If you liked this, you'll love his Klavierstuck X--there are a few recordings on youtube, I think. Also his electronic works will be very iteresting for you to listen to!
He is really a wonderful composer, his music is very diverse and have enormous levels of expression...once you get passed the fact that it doesn't sound "normal" you'll be on your way!

@FordIsBestInTexas You don't care about what we say, but you forget that we don't care much about what you say either. Do you remember what Steve Allen thought of rock music?

every time I come back to a Stockhausen Klavierstuck video I read the comments. and I still have no idea if you guys are being very serious or very sarcastic.

@dawidphamngoc Only if it has a purpouse and the sound is correspondant to that purpouse. Love and hate are not the only emotions people experience, there are many more complex and unexplainable ones, so, there is also complex and unexplainable music that fits those emotions.
-
@dawidphamngoc if you can musically notate what you play before you do it, then yeah...pretty much

Hmmmm....like serialism you have to understand that there is an underlying emotion tied to it. That's what this is exploring. Not all emotions are always beautiful. This art is exploring the inner realms of what this performer feels that the composer would like portrayed.
By the way I think its beautiful :) LOL

I think it is music born from a certain type of autisms. And, the pace?

So if I play some melodies followed by random timing, will I be genious? :(
isn't this song partially in some really weird time signature (believe it was 142/8)?

@NeonFoxLetsPlays Yeah. Every time the repeated chord returns it's in a strange time signature.
