is this supposed to help you out with having your videos from your panasonic camcorder be a avi file cus the format my vids are under are like mod and adobe premeier wont except that

how do i upload the videos from my camcorder to my laptop? am having a hard time doing it. it says to plug it in to the charger and i dont have the origal charger for it? any help would be appreciated

I elect to record to the SD card. When I'm ready to move the movie to a computer, I move the SD card to a card reader on the computer and copy the necessary file(s).

Taking a guess, the .mod format that the adobe product imports is similar to a MIDI file format; obviously not a video format.
The purpose of this demo is to show people a free way to re format the video files from this particular camcorder.

The software that comes bundled with this camera sucks. ALL reviews confirm this.
The software demonstrated is "MediaCoder". It is open source which means it is free and malware free.
The only issue with MediaCoder is the vast amount of settings. This is what I'm documenting here. What you are viewing above produced an AVI file which I uploaded. It is also WinAmp and Windows Media Player compatible.
