We're definitely not done with Afghanistan just yet. But you think we should attack Iran? Sanction them? Diplomacy would go a long way to stopping whatever we find objectionable. Posturing and threatening Iran only endears the people to their leader, harming us in the long run.

No, Russia didn't rule Europe. They ruled half of it. Germany betrayed Russia first.

America hasn't "beat" Afghanistan. Occupying a country and barely managing to keep it from crumbling isn't a victory. Worse yet, thousands of soldiers are dead, tens of thousands more are wounded, hundreds of thousands of civilians have died in Iraq and Afghanistan, more than one trillion dollars have been wasted, and the US's reputation is trash.

Let's see how many countries can fight a world war when civil war strikes. The Soviet Union was the most valuable part of winning WWII, up there with American supply lines. With more trading partners, the Soviets would've won the Cold War.
