  • The point is *humor*. It's not a "Jewishization" of anything. It's an amusing reworking of a popular song that is sung this time of year. It's light-hearted and amusing. Lighten up, OK? - Baruch Ben-David

  • haha we wrote White Christmas (Irving Berlin and we gave you jesus) so yeah we can rock xmas...in a different way :)

Robert L. May created Rudolph in 1939 as an assignment for Montgomery Ward (in Chicago). May's brother-in-law, Johnny Marks, decided to adapt the story of Rudolph into a song. Marks was a radio producer and wrote several popular Christmas songs. It was first sung commercially by crooner Harry Brannon on New York city radio in the latter part of 1948 before Gene Autry recorded it formally in 1949.

  • @protrukr2000 Most Jews wrote the Christmas songs.

  • The Song and story book came out in the 30s it was published by Macy's the big story in NY and given away to the Christmas shoppers. The story was a big hit. The melody came out sometime after that.

  • What can one say? I didn't know such a rendition was possible. LOL!

  • Wow Jews singing Christmas songs.. Well Merry Christmas.

  • the more I keep hearing this language is getting me closer to learning it. Although my mother, a Ukrainian catholic gave birth to me and brought me up in Eastern Catholicism, my father is Polish Jewish and I also learned a lot of Judaism from him.. I don't see how Catholicism is anything like Judaism, though.
